The 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is one of the finest all performing car available taking note of its affordable price. The 4 cylinder engine runs on a 2.0 liter 286 hp with a 289 ft-lbs torque. There are a lot of ways in modifying the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.

1. Since the MR Evo has the largest stock turbo in any of the Lancer line up, consider having a high flowing air intake filter. Since the stock air box is restrictive, you can free up lots of power by replacing the air intake filter.

2. One of the most crucial parts of any turbo charged car is the down pipe. Upgrade your down pipe to increase lots of horsepower and torque.

3. You may also opt to upgrade your Exhaust system into the High Flowing 3 inch. It does nothing better than revving up the power.

4. Since you want to add more power to your car, I suggest that you also get a high performance clutch as clutches can be worn out easily on high powered vehicles.

Lastly, as a piece of advice, I suggest that you also have to review the car insurance that you have for you Mitsubishi Lancer. It would be helpful to know after all of the upgrades you make, it would be much worth it to get the right and less expensive car insurance, especially in taking the risk of driving along the highways of Houston, Texas.
